How should I approach the case problem?
You can explore beginner-level consulting resources on platforms like YouTube. We’ve also provided certain curated links and resources to help you get started. Make sure to go through them before your interview!
What kind of questions are asked in the interview?
Interviews are designed to understand how you think and respond in different situations. We may ask questions to assess your approach to crisis scenarios, your thought process behind your case solution, and leadership or teamwork experiences. More than just your answers, we’re interested in getting to know you as a person, your mindset, motivation, and how you show up in a team.
Do I need prior consulting experience?
Not at all! We look for passion, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn. Prior experience is a bonus, but not a requirement.
When do recruitments happen?
Recruitment typically takes place in August–September every year. Keep an eye on our Instagram or the website for updates.
What is the structure of 180DC KMC?
Our branch follows a well-defined hierarchy to ensure smooth operations and effective project delivery. At the top, the President oversees the organisation, supported by Vice-Presidents and a General Secretary. The leadership team works closely with functional directors : Client Services, Research, Consulting, Marketing, and Finance, who manage their respective domains. Project work is driven by Senior Consultants and Junior Consultants, ensuring that every member contributes meaningfully while developing key consulting skills.

In your first year at 180DC KMC as a Junior Consultant, we follow a volunteer-based model that allows you to contribute to projects and initiatives across all departments. This approach ensures you can explore different functional areas, develop a diverse set of skills, and discover your areas of interest before transitioning into a more specialised role.
