The Zero Period is a non-profit organization with a vision to ensure every child in India receives accurate & age-appropriate sexuality education, throughout their schooling years. It aims to achieve this goal by a three-way model of active advocacy, de-stigmatization initiatives in schools and training existing school teachers for grassroot implementation. Their mission is to achieve their goals by a three- way model of active advocacy for curriculum inclusion, teacher training initiatives and leveraging young adults for grassroot implementation and de-stigmatization.
