The Inter - Campus Case Challenge
180 DC KMC X SRCRC X HCG
Confluence 180
Cases Over Coffee - 180DC KMC X 180DC JMC

Confluence 180 marked a vibrant chapter in inter-branch collaboration within the 180 Degrees Consulting community. Co-hosted by 180 DC KMC and 180 DC Maitreyi, the networking mixer brought together passionate student consultants from over 12 branches. Designed to promote knowledge exchange and meaningful engagement, the event featured immersive activities like Networking Bingo, consluting-themed game shows, and a high-energy case study round, all tailored to foster collaboration in a dynamic setting.
The primary objective of Confluence 180 was to build a stronger, more connected consulting network across campuses. The event served as a unique platform for idea-sharing, exposure to diverse perspectives, and the cultivation of future partnerships within the 180 DC ecosystem. With enthusiastic participation and a spirit of camaraderie, Confluence 180 not only celebrated the consulting culture but also deepened inter-branch ties that will continue to fuel collective growth and innovation.
The inter-campus case competition was a groundbreaking initiative that brought together more than 120 freshmen from three esteemed colleges, providing them with an early yet secure introduction to the world of case competitions. The participating societies and institutions included 180 Degrees Consulting Kirori Mal College, Shri Ram Consulting and Research, and Hindu Consulting Group.
The event presented its logistical challenges, as students unfamiliar with one another were grouped into teams of three or four. These teams were tasked with working collaboratively on real-world case problems, offering them their first opportunity to engage in structured problem-solving within a business context for three nights.
The initiative successfully achieved its goal by fostering creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking among participants. The event garnered high-quality solutions, reflecting extensive research and innovative ideas.
The panel of judges, comprising seasoned professionals with over a decade of corporate experience, was thoroughly impressed with the level of analysis and ingenuity demonstrated by the students, proving that the events truly served as an important stepping stone.

Up for a challenge?
The inter-campus case competition, co-hosted by 180 Degrees Consulting Kirori Mal College and 180 Degrees Consulting Jesus and Mary College, was a collaborative initiative designed to sharpen consulting acumen and strategic thinking. The competition brought together members from both chapters, who were paired into mixed teams and challenged to solve five guesstimates and one comprehensive real-world case problem over the course of two weeks. Through structured prompts and consulting-specific scenarios, participants were immersed in the critical thinking and analysis central to the field.
From team presentations and brainstorming sessions to peer learning and feedback rounds, the competition fostered a dynamic environment of practical exposure and inter-chapter networking. Participants gained firsthand experience in structuring problems, building logical frameworks, and crafting actionable solutions in a simulated consulting setting. The initiative successfully strengthened ties between the two chapters while cultivating a culture of collaboration, analytical rigor, and shared growth within the 180 DC community.
